We had great service, tasty cocktails, and an absolutely amazing lemon celery “pasta” dish, among others! We also loved the roasted cherry pit ice cream. Great special treat for us!

short story: go, with friends, make a reservation. this lil gem has been on the list for a while and for all the right reasons. We finally made the beautiful short trek up the hill with some friends and Marigold delivered to expectation. the cute and smartly appointed space is inviting and focuses you on your company and cuisine. the service is attentive, and prompt, but still casual. this pairs nicely with the expertly crafted dishes . the lengua and pastas were stand out. their negroni was one of the best I have had. looking forward to returning soon.
The food here is phenomenal! Unique and interesting combinations of ingredients that you’re sure to love. I urge the self proclaimed “picky eater” to give this place a shot, as it will not disappoint. We weren’t completely famished, but we finished our plates regardless due to impeccable taste. Chef came out to greet us and was very kind. If you are debating over wines, try an unorthodox “orange wine”! The Vodopivec ‘Solo’ will not disappoint. Thanks chef!!
We were passing through to the mountains and stopped in Lyon spontaneously. I have to say we made one of the best choices in a spot to stop for dinner! We had the bucatini and rigatoni, which were phenomenal. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the flavors were very standout. The vibe of this restaurant is also great with all the little attention to detail for the decor.
Lucky enough to be one of the first to try this spot. Small restaurant with small attentive staff. Has a homely vibe. Drinks were great. Food was fantastic. The melon & feta dish was incredible and the handmade rigatoni with bolognese were definitely highlights but would love to try the entire menu. If you are ever on your way to or fro Estes Park, a stop here in Lyons is recommended. Hope it sticks around for a long while.
A true dining gem in tiny Lyons. Things just got better as the dinner progressed. The appetizers and drinks were good. The pasta and sauces for our main course were sublime. Interesting and creative uses of seasonal produce. Generous portions. Next time you’re looking for a special dinner, Marigold is certainly worth a visit.
Last night was our first visit to Marigold and we will definitely be back. Cozy and intimate feel, without the stuffiness that usually comes along with this level of dining experience. From the wine to the food to the superb service, everything was delightful. Very thrilled to have discovered this gem in Lyons. I am always on the hunt for unique places to bring our foodie friends visiting Colorado. Marigold just moved to the top of the list.
